SPARK sports seats.

Turnkey

SPARK is a family of seats for sports and hospitality environments designed for the FANBASE brand. In this project, the main objective was to provide an innovative design with a great capacity to adapt to different scenarios, while maintaining the focus on functionality and sustainability. The solution is a product of great lightness and robustness, thanks to the structural engineering of the seat, which in turn allows formal fluidity and an optimal long-lasting seating experience for the user.

Project phases

Industrial design

We designed an innovative and sustainable solution that combines lightness, robustness and formal fluidity. This formal language was transmitted to the two models in the family: SPARK SR, a backless seat with lumbar support, and SPARK CR, a seat with high backrest and alternative version with lattice. In order to optimise the user experience, the seat was defined through an in-depth ergonomic analysis, and waves were included to improve leg ventilation. The result is an ergonomic, aesthetic, robust and adaptable seat, designed to offer comfort over long periods of use.

Engineering

Our main objective was the optimisation of the seat structure with advanced simulations to maximise lightness and durability, ensuring its adaptability to different environments and favouring the sustainability of the product, reducing its environmental impact. We defined from the CAD design and its production feasibility to the design of the injection moulds.

Prototyping

We validate the design with prototypes in final materials, optimising the structure through 3D printing and CNC machining to guarantee ergonomics and resistance.

Mould making

We manufacture high precision moulds, optimised for intensive production cycles, ensuring durability and exact reproduction of the design.

Manufacturing

We take care of the production by injection moulding of recyclable HD-Copolymer Polypropylene and recycled material versions.
